Call for Special Sessions

SETN 2012 participants interested in organizing a Special Session as part of the main conference are requested to submit a proposal to the conference organizers by November 15th, 2011. Prospective session organizers should consider the following items prior to submitting the proposal: 

  • they will have to publish a Call for Papers for their Special Session and make publicity,
  • they will have to set up a Program Committee of at least five well-known scientists,
  • they will have to dispatch the reviews and define the status of the received manuscripts (accepted/rejected),
  • there are typically five presentations in a single session,
  • speakers should be selected primarily for their current contributions to the topic area,
  • speakers should be as representative of researchers in the area as possible,
  • a session organizer may speak as part of the session that he/she is organizing, and
  • they will have to act as chairs of their respective Special Sessions.
