Call for Special Sessions
SETN 2012 participants interested in organizing a Special Session as part of the main conference are requested to submit a proposal to the conference organizers by November 15th, 2011. Prospective session organizers should consider the following items prior to submitting the proposal:
- they will have to publish a Call for Papers for their Special Session and make publicity,
- they will have to set up a Program Committee of at least five well-known scientists,
- they will have to dispatch the reviews and define the status of the received manuscripts (accepted/rejected),
- there are typically five presentations in a single session,
- speakers should be selected primarily for their current contributions to the topic area,
- speakers should be as representative of researchers in the area as possible,
- a session organizer may speak as part of the session that he/she is organizing, and
- they will have to act as chairs of their respective Special Sessions.
